This is a page for me to show off what I feel is my best work. This page will show my art style, my accomplishments and my favourite art pieces.
Quarantine Experience Video
This was a project done at the beginning of the year. It was supposed to showcase how it feels to be in quarantine.
Infographic
For this project we made an infographic about an art movement. I got to do ancient Greek art. This infographic was created in Adobe Photoshop and was mostly drawn by hand.
Pot Vector Graphic
This is a vector graphic that was included in my infographic. It was drawn by hand in Adobe Illustrator. This project had taken the longest of the four vector graphics I completed. It took over 16 hours to complete.
Temple Vector Graphic
This is another one of the vector graphics on my infographic. It was the quickest of all of them as it does not have super intricate details. This was drawn in Adobe Illustrator as well.
"Laocoon and his Sons" Vector Graphic
This vector is of the statue "Laocoon and his Sons". A statue featured on my infographic. If you would like to learn more about it I would recommend reading my infographic. This was also drawn in Adobe Illustrator.
Column Vector Graphic
This was the final vector created in Adobe Illustrator. It is a drawing of the columns used in ancient Greek architecture. This column was created by drawing one side and then mirroring it.
Carboard Sculpture
For this specific assignment, students were stuck at home for a month. With the limited materials we had, we had to use cardboard to make an abstract sculpture. I chose these specific colours because I feel the most connected to them. I also chose the contrast between the soft and rounded shapes and the rough and jagged edged as I felt it truly represented who I am as an artist.
Portrait Painting Assignment
This was a painting of my friend. The medium is acrylic. It took me almost 2 weeks.
Who am I?
This was a piece I created as part of my "Who am I?" assignment. We had to create a mixed media collage with each part representing a part of our personality. Every section on my board shows a piece of myself and the media used also shows pieces of myself.
Still Life Drawings
This was a series of still-life drawings I completed. We had to draw a man made object, an animal product and a plant product. The first one is a cow bone done with white chalk. I chose black paper because it complements the medium I used. The second one is a teapot drawn and coloured with pencil crayon. I chose the black paper again because it complemented the medium. The last one is a piece of driftwood I drew using graphite. I chose grey paper because I felt as it complemented the drawing.
Pandemic Assignment
This was a photography project that I was assigned. We had to display the pandemic using photographs. All of these photos display how the pandemic has effected us in some way or another.
